This is the tightest premise match on the list. Dawoon is summoned into the Dungeon and has to play a deadly game with zero combat ability, just a crafter's skills. He falls into a trap, survives after a glitched reset, and comes out with random but oddly helpful skills, the same "the system's own mechanics create the second chance" structure that defines Min Ryu's last attempt. It finished at 266 chapters and is complete on Tappytoon (rated 16+), so unlike most picks here it has an actual ending.

3. Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint
Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (Omniscient Reader on WEBTOON), original story by singNsong, adaptation by UMI, art by Sleepy-C (cover via AniList).
The mechanic here is different, foreknowledge from having read the web novel this world turns into, rather than repeated death. Dokja is an office worker whose only hobby was 'Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse', and when it becomes reality he's the only one who knows how the world ends. The tension is close to Min Ryu's: knowing the rules of a scenario-based survival game doesn't make surviving it easy.
WEBTOON's English release is on a season break: the latest web episode is Episode 308 (June 1, 2026), under a "will return!" note. Our review rates it 9.2/10.
4. I Killed the Main Player

Corin is a minor NPC who knows the game like the back of his hand. Then he finds out Sihu, the main player, has been murdering innocent NPCs and stealing their items. When Sihu fails the last mission, Corin is thrown three years back in time, and this time he plans to kill Sihu and take on his role. It's a sharper angle on "the real threat isn't who you'd expect" than most regression manhwa attempt, close in spirit to Min Ryu discovering the danger was never the monsters.
It's on WEBTOON every Sunday and had reached Episode 116 by October 10, 2026. Our review rates it 7.2/10.
5. The Tutorial Is Too Tough!
The Tutorial Is Too Tough! (fans know it as The Tutorial Is Too Hard), original story by Gandara, story and art by Imae Daiki (cover via AniList).
Lee Ho-jae, an ex-pro gamer, is invited to the Tutorial World and confidently picks "hell" difficulty, then learns he's trapped there with a 0.01% survival rate. That puts him under the same survive-or-die pressure Min Ryu faces at the final chamber, just moved to the front of the story. It leans harder into raw survival than into the system-betrayal angle, worth knowing going in.
The catch: Tapas put the English run (273 episodes so far) on hiatus on September 29, 2026 for "a production review of the title's localization schedule", and Tapas itself closes on March 31, 2027. Our review rates it 8.0/10.
6. Second Life Ranker
Second Life Ranker, original story by Do-Yeon Sa, art by Nong Nong (cover via AniList).
No death loop here. Yeonwoo learns his missing brother is dead, is handed a pocket watch, and finds out the brother was betrayed while competing in the Tower of the Sun God. He climbs the same tower with the knowledge his brother left behind. The emotional register is the one that drives Min Ryu: a second attempt, armed with hard-won knowledge, at a game that already killed someone once. The revenge motivation slows the early chapters more than a standard tower-climb story would, which some readers will find meaningful and others a detour.
Tapas has 219 episodes up and is on hiatus after Season 3, which is its only English home before the March 2027 closure.

7. Absolute Regression
Absolute Regression, original story by Yeong-Hun Jang, manhwa story by JP, art by Jin-Hwan Park (cover via AniList).
The honest caveat first: this is a murim sect story, not a death game. Mugeuk Geom watches Mugi Hwa cut down every lord, his father Cheonma included, and uses a forbidden time-bending ritual to throw himself into his own past before Mugi rises again. What carries over is a second chance that comes with specific knowledge of exactly how things went wrong, and a clock. It's ongoing on WEBTOON every Saturday, with Episode 106 out on October 9, 2026.
Our Take
If you only read one, make it SSS-Class Revival Hunter: it's the one where dying is the strategy, which is the itch Min Ryu's 99 deaths leave behind. If ongoing hiatuses wear you out, and with Min Ryu's own series stalled they might, go straight to Dungeon Reset, which is done. Skip Absolute Regression unless you want murim more than a death game.
