Anime like Tomb Raider King is an easy search to answer once you know which part you liked. The anime's 12th and last episode came out on September 30, and nothing about a second season has been announced. If you just want the same feeling again, watch Solo Leveling: on AniList's page for the Tomb Raider King anime, it's the show users recommend most. If it was something more specific, pick below: future knowledge, powers that come from objects, a lead who enjoys being two steps ahead, or treasure hunting as a job.

This page is anime only. For comics, see manhwa like Tomb Raider King; to keep going with the same story, Tomb Raider King Manhwa vs Anime shows where episode 12 leaves off in the webtoon.
Anime like Tomb Raider King: what viewers want more of
AniList's synopsis sums up the show in a few lines: tombs "suddenly surface, filled with divine relics granting overwhelming power," and Jooheon Suh, "betrayed and left for dead," gets sent back "years before the relics." Then: "Fueled by fury and future knowledge, he sets out to raid each tomb before they arise."
That gives three hooks. One commenter in an r/manhwa thread about whether the series is worth starting named the first two: "Instead of another generic system MC, our guy uses his knowledge of the future to collect relics before everyone else." The third is tone. The same reader was surprised that the relics "have personalities," and the show's key art sells Jooheon on a grin.
No anime we checked does all three, so there's no perfect anime similar to Tomb Raider King. The list starts with what AniList users actually pair with it, then covers one hook per pick, and each entry says plainly what's missing.

Crunchyroll's trailer for Tomb Raider King, for comparison:
*Video: Crunchyroll's official trailer for the Tomb Raider King anime (YouTube).*1. Solo Leveling: the closest match
Solo Leveling (key visual via AniList).
Start here. On the Tomb Raider King anime's AniList page, Solo Leveling's first season has 61 user recommendations and its second season 30, far ahead of everything else. Both shows come from Korean webtoons, both drop monsters and dungeons into modern Korea, and both follow one man with an advantage the rest of the world can't see.
Viewers noticed the family resemblance before the show even aired. Under the r/manhwa post for the main trailer, one reply reads: "I can't get over how similar the MC looks to Sung Jinwoo. If the MC wasn't smiling the entire time I wouldn't have known."
That smile is the difference. Seong Jin-U starts as "the world's weakest hunter" and gets "the System, a program only he could see," so his story is a slow, grim climb. Jooheon already knows the future and acts like it. Expect fewer jokes and more dread. AniList lists both seasons by A-1 Pictures and links Crunchyroll for each. Our Solo Leveling anime review covers how well the adaptation holds up.
2. A Returner's Magic Should Be Special: the second-chance pick
A Returner's Magic Should Be Special (key visual via AniList).
If the best part of Tomb Raider King was a man redoing his life with the answers in hand, this is your show. AniList's synopsis has Desir Herrman and his friends lose to the Destruction Dragon as the world ends, and then Desir opens his eyes "to find himself 13 years in the past," at the entrance ceremony of Hebrion Academy.
The setup matches, the motive doesn't. Jooheon goes back for revenge and to get rich first. Desir goes back to gather his friends and save everyone, so the show plays more like an academy fantasy with a regression engine underneath. It's another webtoon adaptation: AniList credits Arvo Animation, a 12-episode first season from fall 2023, and lists a second season airing now. The Season 2 guide has the schedule.
3. Overgeared: power from the gear
Overgeared (key visual via AniList).
The relics in Tomb Raider King are basically legendary items with opinions. Overgeared is the anime where items are the whole power system. AniList's synopsis has Grid, "an unlucky man in life," find "a powerful item" in the VR game Satisfy that makes him a blacksmith "who can forge unique weapons and equip the game's most powerful gear."
Grid also shares Jooheon's least noble trait: he "resolves to use his new abilities to achieve fame and fortune." The big difference is that Satisfy is a game, so the stakes are a player's career rather than the real world. It's airing right now; AniList lists a 12-episode ONA by J.C.STAFF with Crunchyroll as the stream. If this is the hook for you, anime like Overgeared has eight more game-world picks.
4. The God of High School: borrowed power from gods and myth
The God of High School (key visual via AniList).
This is the pick for viewers who loved the relics themselves. The same r/manhwa reader pointed out that Tomb Raider King's relics "are based on real history, mythology, and folklore." The God of High School has its own version: in Wikipedia's plot summary, fighters use "Borrowed Power," a mystical energy "granted by supernatural entities," from gods and demons to mythical creatures.
It's a Korean webtoon adaptation too. AniList's synopsis starts small, with a fighting tournament "to seek out for the best fighter among all high school students in Korea," and taekwondo kid Mori Jin learning "there is something much greater beneath the stage." There's no time travel and no treasure hunting, but the climb from a school tournament to gods will feel familiar. MAPPA made it, 13 episodes, summer 2020, on Crunchyroll per AniList. Our The God of High School review covers the webtoon behind it.
5. The Eminence in Shadow: the schemer who enjoys it
The Eminence in Shadow (key visual via AniList).
This one comes straight from AniList users: it's the third show recommended on Tomb Raider King's page, after the two Solo Leveling seasons. The link is the lead's attitude. Cid wants to "pull the strings of society through wit and cleverness," leads the Shadow Garden against a cult "which he totally made up," and then learns the cult is real.
If you liked watching Jooheon outplay the people hiring him (in episode 9 he keeps a map relic he found for General Kiera and plans to destroy her other maps), Cid is that energy turned into a whole comedy. It's an isekai and a parody, though, so don't expect tombs or a revenge plot. AniList lists a 20-episode TV season by Nexus from fall 2022, streaming on HIDIVE, Netflix, Hulu and Prime Video.
6. Hunter x Hunter (2011): treasure hunting as a job
Hunter x Hunter (2011) (key visual via AniList).
The long pick. In Tomb Raider King, raiding tombs is a career with rivals and employers who might betray you. In Hunter x Hunter, a Hunter's work runs from "capturing criminals" to "searching deep within uncharted lands for any lost treasures," and Gon sets out to become one to find his father.
It's a coming-of-age shonen, not a revenge story, and it's a much bigger commitment: 148 episodes from MADHOUSE, fall 2011 to 2014, per AniList, which links Crunchyroll, Netflix and Hulu among others. It's also the highest-scored show here on AniList, at 89 out of 100. If you want the adventure side of raiding without the regression, it's worth the time.
Two more names show up on AniList's recommendation list for Tomb Raider King: Shangri-La Frontier and The King's Avatar. Both are video game stories, so they suit the Overgeared crowd better than a list of shows like Tomb Raider King.
Our take: which anime like Tomb Raider King to start with
Watch Solo Leveling first. It's the show Tomb Raider King keeps getting compared to, and AniList users score it well above it (80 for the first season against 68). After that, pick by the hook. A Returner's Magic Should Be Special is the one to try if you wanted more of the second-chance plot, and The God of High School if the relics were the best part. Overgeared is the easiest to slot in, since new episodes are coming out right now.
And if none of these scratch the itch, the honest answer is the source. The anime only covers the start of a finished webtoon; the Tomb Raider King anime episode guide shows where it stops and where to pick it up.
Frequently Asked Questions
What anime is most like Tomb Raider King?
Solo Leveling. On AniList's Tomb Raider King page, users recommend Solo Leveling's first season more than any other show, with its second season in second place. Both are Korean-origin action stories about a lead with an edge nobody else has.
Is there an anime like Tomb Raider King with time travel or regression?
A Returner's Magic Should Be Special. Its lead loses the final battle, wakes up 13 years in the past at his academy's entrance ceremony and uses what he remembers to change the future. Season 2 is airing now.
Will Tomb Raider King get a season 2?
Nothing has been announced. AniList lists the anime as finished with no sequel linked, and the story continues in the finished manhwa.
Is Tomb Raider King connected to Lara Croft?
No. Tomb Raider King is based on a Korean webtoon about a raider sent back in time before relic-filled tombs appear. It has nothing to do with the Tomb Raider video games.
Where can I watch these anime legally?
AniList links Crunchyroll for five of the six picks; The Eminence in Shadow streams on HIDIVE, Netflix, Hulu and Prime Video instead. Availability changes by region, so check the service in your country first.
