Athanasia wakes up as the princess of a novel called "Lovely Princess," except she isn't the heroine, and her father, Emperor Claude, is the man who might kill her the way he killed his brother for the throne. Like Firentia, she can't fix anything by force. She has to win him over a little at a time.
The difference is temperature. Lulac is skeptical; Claude starts out openly hostile, so the early chapters run colder before they warm up. The story is finished: Tapas has all 135 episodes and marks it completed. WEBTOON has also started its own English edition that updates on Thursdays, so check which version you're opening.
2. The Abandoned Empress

The best match for the second-chance mechanic. Tappytoon's summary: Aristia of House Monique is raised to become empress, then a mysterious girl appears, the emperor turns away, and Aristia dies as a lesser queen. She's sent back to seven years earlier. Firentia gets her family back by working the system; Aristia spends her second life trying not to walk into the same one.
It's slower and sadder than I Shall Master this Family, closer to recovering from a bad first life than scheming through a good second one. It's finished at 146 chapters.
3. I Am the Real One

A family drama about losing your place instead of earning it. A prophecy says the Grand Duke will have one water elementalist child, and Keira grows up sure it's her. Then Cosette arrives claiming to be his real daughter, and Keira ends up executed. She wakes up again with one goal: build allies before Cosette makes her move.

4. Under the Oak Tree

A different road to the same feeling of earning a place. Manta's summary: Maximilian, a lady with a stutter, is forced to marry Sir Riftan, who leaves on campaign right after the wedding night and comes back three years later ready to cherish her. Manta files it under marriage before love, and the pull is watching an underestimated woman find her footing in a house that didn't expect much of her.
Romance sits in the middle here, where I Shall Master this Family keeps it on the edge. Manta now marks it "Season 5 completed" at 193 episodes, with no weekly schedule.
5. The Remarried Empress

Navier doesn't earn a family; she loses one and negotiates a better one. What links her to Firentia is the response: discipline instead of panic, conditions instead of speeches. 6. The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion

Instead of waiting, she trades what she knows about future events and political secrets to Duke Noah, who agrees to protect her as his fake fiancée. That's Firentia's move too: turn foreknowledge into a deal with someone powerful.
It's lighter and funnier than I Shall Master this Family, and complete at 158 chapters, which makes it a good break between the heavier picks. Our Raeliana review has more.
7. Villains Are Destined to Die

The highest-stakes pick. Penelope is pulled into a game on hard mode as the hated villainess, and as Tapas puts it, every possible ending is death. Every conversation with family is a calculated risk, which is a sharper version of how Firentia handles the Lombardis.

The outlier, on purpose. A civil engineering student, Suho Kim, wakes up in a novel as Lloyd Frontera, a lazy noble whose family is buried in debt, and uses engineering to dig them out. No court romance, almost none of the tone. What it shares is the engine: a lead nobody takes seriously who wins by building things the skeptics can see.
When someone on r/OtomeIsekai asked for stories like I Shall Master this Family where the lead uses modern knowledge, one reply was simply: "You've gotta read the greatest real estate designer. Start with Who Made Me a Princess. It's the only pick that copies the exact pressure Firentia lives under: a child's body, an adult's memory, and a family head who could end her. If what you liked was the second shot at seven years old, The Abandoned Empress is next. If it was Firentia turning knowledge into money and leverage, skip the romance picks and go straight to The Greatest Estate Developer.

The old version had several premises and cover descriptions wrong. Raeliana doesn't blackmail the duke; they make a deal. The Greatest Estate Developer isn't about building an estate "from nothing"; Lloyd's family is drowning in debt. I Am the Real One left out that Keira is executed and starts over. Who Made Me a Princess isn't the most-followed pick on AniList; Villains Are Destined to Die and The Greatest Estate Developer both have more members. We also replaced cover captions that didn't match the art and dropped the FAQ, TL;DR and Key Takeaways, which repeated the list.
