What happened in Korea
RIDI's page for 록사나: 여주인공의 오빠를 지키는 방법 (Roxana: The Way to Protect the Female Lead's Older Brother) went live on October 1, 2026. It's tagged as a RIDI-only title, and RIDI's wait-for-free system lets readers open one episode a day for free. RIDI's October webtoon calendar lists that day as the Season 1 launch and Friday, October 23 as the return of Season 2. After that, the schedule line reads every Friday, with a planned break week after every three weeks of updates. The relaunched Season 1 has 43 episodes, the same count Tapas has in English, so Season 2 should be new story for English readers too.
Fans caught the date early. The r/OtomeIsekai post that shared the new art summed it up in its title: "the series is now on Ridi and new chapters from 23rd October!"

The credits changed too. RIDI lists Yoreumppit (여름빛) for story and art, Kin for the original novel, and Dreamtoon (드림툰) as the publisher. On Tapas, the copyright line for both seasons ends with Yeondam instead. The cover is new art as well: it's not the red-dress cover from the 2021 Korean launch.
Korean readers are treating it as a homecoming. RIDI's review section has a 5.0 average from 1,247 ratings, and the newest reviews read like welcome-back notes. One, posted October 17, says (our translation): "Author, thank you so much for coming back. I hope you'll always be healthy and happy."
What the English Tapas page says
Nothing new since last year. The Roxana page on Tapas still lists 43 episodes and carries the same notice from Team Tapas, dated December 22, 2025: "Season 2 has come to a close, so we will be taking a hiatus break before returning with season 3!" Tapas credits Juniljus, BAEK JI-YEON and Kin.

So "Roxana is back" is true in Korea and not yet true in English. Season labels can also differ between platforms, so don't assume the Korean relaunch lines up neatly with what Tapas calls Season 3.
The fan story: new studio, same artist
The return first spread through a r/manhwa post on September 10, 2026 titled "[Roxana] is back." The poster wrote that it would be "a different studio but the same artist" and "re drawn from the beginning." The top reply, with over 300 upvotes, said: "very good news! Hope the new studio treats the artist like an actual human being." Another reader asked the obvious question: "Redrawn from the beginning by the same artist? Does that EVER happen???"
Here's what the official pages back up. The publisher did change (Yeondam on Tapas, Dreamtoon on RIDI), and the cover is new. RIDI doesn't say the episodes were redrawn, and it credits the art under the name Yoreumppit rather than Juniljus, so we can't confirm from the pages alone that it's the same artist under a new name. The thread also repeats accounts of how the artist was treated by the old studio; we haven't found an official statement on that, so we're leaving those claims out.
What this means for English readers
Analysis. An English Season 3 would most likely follow the Korean relaunch, but nothing official links the two yet. Tapas hasn't updated its notice, and with the platform closing in March 2027, any English Season 3 may need a new publisher. Until one is announced, the RIDI page is the place to watch for new episodes, and the Tapas page is the place to watch for English news.
If you're new to Roxana, the 43 English episodes on Tapas are still readable until the shutdown. They end on a season break, not an ending.
Our Take
This is the best Roxana news in a long time. The English edition has carried a dateless "will return" notice since December 2025, and now the series has a real schedule, even if only in Korean. We'd hold off on paying for the Tapas episodes unless you plan to read them before March 2027, and check back here when an English publisher steps in.
