Murim Login Reading Guide: Seasons, Gaps, Where to Read

This Murim Login reading guide comes down to one move: read Season 1 on Tapas, all 117 episodes, and stop there for now. Season 1 ends on a planned season break, not a cliffhanger. Everything after it exists only in Korean, where the series has finished three seasons and is waiting to start a fourth.

Murim Login is published in English as Log-in Murim (로그인 무림), original story by Zero-BIG, art by Jang Cheol-byeok (credited as "Iron wall" on Tapas). Taekyung Jin is a struggling, low-ranked hunter who logs into a game on a beat-up VR console and finds himself trapped in a martial-arts world, unable to log out. The comedy comes from a modern guy bumbling through murim etiquette; the hook is that what he learns there doesn't stay there.

The English edition stops at exactly the same place the first Korean season did, so you're reading a complete first season, not a cut-off.

Where to read Murim Login

English: Tapas. Tapas lists 117 episodes. On April 24, 2026 it posted that "Season 1 has come to a close and so we will be taking a hiatus before returning with season 2!" There's no return date. Older episodes unlock free after a wait; the newest ones need Ink.

The Tapas problem. Tapas has announced that its whole service ends on March 31, 2027, and its FAQ says content unlocked there can't be moved to another Kakao service. If you plan to buy your way through Season 1, keep that date in mind. Our Tapas shutdown explainer covers the details.

Korean: KakaoPage and Kakao Webtoon. The original runs on Kakao's platforms, where episode 250 (February 6, 2026) is still the newest and the listing carries an end-of-season badge.

Season 1: what you're reading

Season 1 is the setup: Jin lands in murim with nothing, learns the rules the hard way, and starts building a reputation there while his life as a weak hunter keeps going on the other side. The jokes carry the early stretch, and readers notice. One r/manhwa reader put it simply: "Murim Login is quite comedic which I find manhwa as opposed to Light Novel really elevates."

Not everyone loves the two-world split. Asked how good the series is, another reader wrote: "I like it. However, i do think it would’ve been a lot better if had forgone the hunter setting and been purely a murim manhwa." That's a fair warning. If the hunter chapters bore you, the murim chapters are why you'll keep going.

How to read it:

1. Start at episode 1 on Tapas. There's no prologue or side story to read first.
2. Read to 117. The Korean team added Season 1 closing material to that episode's ending, per its own notice, so it's built to be a stopping point.
3. Then decide. Wait for Tapas, or accept that the rest is Korean-only for now.

The gap: Seasons 2 to 4

The Korean original is 133 episodes past the English edition, all of Seasons 2 and 3. KakaoPage's Season 3 notice says the series wrapped Season 3 at episode 250 and will come back with "더욱 재미있는 시즌 4" (an even more fun Season 4) after a period to reorganize the work.

On October 13, 2026 the publisher KENAZ posted that, in line with the Season 4 return, per-episode prices on KakaoPage will rise from November 6, 2026. Its October 21 notice then named the day: Season 4 returns on Saturday, November 7, with episodes 251 and 252 going up together at 22:00 Korea time on Friday, November 6, and one episode every Saturday after that. Our Take

Read Season 1. It's a funny, well-paced first season with a real ending point, and you can finish it on Tapas before the platform closes. Don't start it expecting to keep going in English soon: Tapas hasn't said when Season 2 starts, even though Korea gets Season 4 on November 7. How We Checked This

For this update we re-checked the Tapas series page and hiatus notice, the Tapas end-of-service FAQ, KakaoPage's notice tab, Kakao Webtoon's episode list and AniList, one quoted row per fact in our sources table. The old version had the premise wrong: Jin doesn't walk through a dungeon gate and log out at will, he's stuck in a VR game he can't leave. It also had the Korean count as "250+" (it's 250, with Season 4 pending) and a 130-chapter gap that's really 133. We dropped the FAQ, the summary blocks and the step list, which repeated each other, and added KENAZ's October 13 notice.

On October 24, 2026 we read KENAZ's October 21 Season 4 return notice on KakaoPage and added its date, time, episodes and weekly slot; Kakao Webtoon still listed episode 250 as the newest that day.
